Title: Implementation Universal Branch PIN Allocation (UBPA) System.

Problem statement: Developing efficient way for bank account holders in order to get the ATM pin from any branch of particular bank at the time of account opening/renewal of ATM card

Objective: The aim of our projects is to developing efficient way so bank user can get there ATM PIN from any branch of particular bank. So user has no limitations to go their home branch for getting PIN for new ATM. Even user should also get pin if user forgot his/her PIN.

Action Plan:

Now day’s most of bank users of different banks using the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) service. Most of bank provides the ATM‘s in rural and urban sectors in India. This is one of the best services provided by almost all banks in India. To get ATM a bank user follows following steps,

1.     User request for ATM service online or manually from home branch by filling the ATM card form.

2.     ATM will be delivered in 10 days to user’s permanent address.

3.     After 10 day of delivering ATM user must collect the PIN from bank’s home branch.(home branch: The branch where user is having his/her account)

User can apply online for ATM from web portal of particular bank. But user is restricted to get the new ATM pin from his/her home branch. Due to this user is facing many problems like student who are studying in other city as well the employers who are working in different cities.

Even if user forgot his/her PIN user must go to home branch to collect the new PIN. So this is not efficient way for getting PIN.

So, the solution is that user can get his/her ATM PIN from any branch of particular bank.

For this solution is that developing a web application which will allow getting the ATM PIN from any branch. The PIN will be sent to user's mobile number which must be verified by the officer of the bank. User must verify them by passbook and ATM card. And must carry the registered mobile number

For this web application we need the server side scripting language like JSP,PHP and ASP. To storing the essential data we need relation databases like oracle and my SQL.

UBPA approach to get PIN:

1.     After getting new ATM go to the nearest branch of your bank along with your ATM and passbook.

2.     Then request for PIN to officer of that branch.

3.     Officer can access the web application from computer via Internet.

4.     User will provide ATM Number and mobile number to officer. Mobile number must be verified.

Your verification Id is 2432(Two Four Three Two), please use within 5 minutes.

5.Its necessary that user must verify the mobile number by auto generated verification code which will immediately sent to mobile after clicking send verification code.

6. The session will redirected to step 2 of verification of number.

7. Now the mobile number of user is verified successfully. After clicking on send PIN user will get the PIN as text message on mobile number which previously verified.

User will get the PIN on mobile number which is previously verified.

How verification system works?

            1. Check if a mobile number is live or invalid

            2. Identify the home network of a mobile number

            3. Check if a mobile number has been switched on recently

            4. Identify fake or inaccurate mobile numbers

            5. Work in real-time via our API for web form validation or use our fully

               Managed service.

Conclusion:

UBPA system is efficient way get the ATM PIN. It will not restrict to user to get the PIN from home branch. It increases the reliability of the PIN allocation.
